Construction equipment, cable bobbins and modular assemblies are typical cargoes in this situation as well as low value palletized material.

Side-door containers, often referred to as full side access units, allow unobstructed access through the side of a dry cargo unit. Applications include long or delicate cargoes which would be difficult to load through end doors or where the cargo owner wishes to load material whilst the container is located on a railcar.
